 We are honored to introduce the inaugural Headwaters Academy workshop series at our brand-new Headwaters Studio. Throughout July, August, and September, we invite you to step into the creative process and engage with the landscape we call home. — We are thrilled to host seasonal Pitkin resident Becka Jahelka, who will be leading an immersive series of Watercolor Batik and Botanical Gel Plate workshops. These sessions are designed as an invitation to all—regardless of experience level. Whether you are a youth discovering your voice or an adult seeking a new way to observe the natural world, our doors are open. — Each workshop is rooted in the philosophy that creativity is a practice of connection. By the end of each session, every participant will take home a finished piece of art, a tangible reflection of the time spent exploring our shared valley. — Workshop Details — Location: Headwaters Studio -- Dates: July 9, 16, 23, 28 & September 3, 10. — Open To: Youth and Adults (7+ must be accompanied by adult) — We invite you to join us in this act of creation, celebrating the beauty of our valley through the transformative power of art.
