Details: Castle Creek Guitars Summer Concert Series Presents Pure Prairie League: A Benefit Concert for Gunnison Valley Mentors! Opening Act: Bill Dowell & The Wood Splitters. Tickets $30-$125. Pure Prairie League is an American country-rock band whose roots began between 1964 and 1969 in Waverly, Ohio with Craig Fuller, Tom McGrail, Jim Caughlan and John David Call. Despite significant personnel changes, Pure Prairie League maintained itself as a successful country-rock band during the 1970s and early '80s, releasing ten albums and enjoying hits with different configurations of the group that included "Amie" and "Let Me Love You Tonight." Bill Dowell & The Wood Splitters - (Set time: 6:30 PM) Gunnison Valley based band, lead by our fearless Director of Ski Patrol at Crested Butte Mountain Resort....Bill and his band bring the melodies of the mountains alive and get you dancing! The I Bar Ranch is a rain or shine venue! The venue is a converted hay barn with stage, lighting & sound. While the sides are open to provide fresh air and scenery, there are curtains that can be closed for inclement weather. Please prepare with extra layers! Bill Dowell & The Woodsplitters promises to get everyone dancing, starting at 6:30PM! LAWN SEATS WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE COVERED DANCE FLOOR. PLEASE PURHCHASE TICKETS ACCORINGLY. We welcome all ages of humans at the I Bar Ranch, but please leave your 4-legged friends at home! No dogs are allowed at the ranch. No outside food or beverage is allowed in. Food for purchase will be available on site from Mario's Pizza & Pasta. Food Tickets can be purchased at the concert. ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL, no refunds or exchanges. You may camp on site after the show for $15/person. You may purchase a camping pass at the gate.
