 Starring James Franco and his brother, Dave, The Disaster Artist tells the hilarious true story of Hollywood nobodies Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero, who produced what is generally regarded as one of the worst movies ever, the 2003 cult-classic, The Room. The Disaster Artist tells the charming story of Sestero, an aspiring film actor, meeting the weird and mysterious Wiseau in an acting class. The pair form a unique friendship and travel to Hollywood to make their dreams come true. The film results in a shot-for-shot recreation of the film, The Room. Sounds complicated? It isn't. The Disaster Artist is a raucous, joyous, buddy film, that goes behind-the-scenes to show you how films are made - even really bad ones. This film is not to be missed. You'll laugh your ass off and see great cameos by Seth Rogen, Bob Odenkirk and Judd Apatow. Rated R. Running time 104 mins. Takes place at the Center for the Arts, 606 6th Street.
