Gunnison Valley Calendar Is Your Source for Valley-Wide Events Listings

Gunnison Valley Calendar is a regional one-stop calendar where you can post your organization's events to a shared single website around the Gunnison Valley from Crested Butte to Gunnison.  The goal is to make posting events easy so that you don't have to submit to multiple calendars.  Please review your event content prior to submissions. For Public Service Announcements with KBUT Community Radio, please submit your event two weeks in advance.

  • The Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce,
  • The Crested Butte Creative District,
  • The Gunnison Country Chamber of Commerce and the
  • Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association. 
The Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Calendar website and calendar is generously hosted and supported at no charge by Thin Air Web, serving Crested Butte and beyond since 1998.

Historic Ski & Snowshoe to the Magic Meadows Yurt

Location: Crested Butte Nordic Trails
Details: The museum is excited to collaborate with the Crested Butte Nordic Center to host a historic ski and snowshoe out to the magic meadows yurt! You’ll learn about the history of the area, including the The Big Mine, Peanut Lake Mine, Pittsburg, and Augusta Mines during the trip out to the yurt, and upon arriving will be treated to a light lunch and an alcoholic or non-alcoholic refreshment of your choice. A shuttle will be provided for participants that would prefer a shorter ski or snowshoe. This tour meets at the Crested Butte Nordic Center at 11am and will last until 2pm. Cost is $50 for members of the museum and/or the nordic center, $65 for non-members. Cost to rent skis or snowshoes for this event is $15 per rental.
