 A weekend of West African Dance and Drum Classes! Featuring 3 master teachers from Guinea, West Africa: Fara Tolno, Etienne Tolno and Mami Camara of the Kissidugu Foundation ! The Weekend includes all-level, community classes in traditional Guinean Dance and Drumming, Afro-fusion classes, DunDun Dance class, and Kids Dance/Drum Class. All Classes held in Jones Studio at the Center for the Arts. See attached schedule for details on Adult and kids classes. 3 Classes for $55 or Drop in $20. All Kids classes $15. All levels welcome! These guest teaching artists are an integral part of the Kissidugu Foundation of Music, Dance, and Education- a cultural exchange learning center in Guinea, West Africa- founded by world renown teacher Gabriel Fara Tolno.
