 CALLING ALL ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL AGED YOUNGSTERS: The award-winning children’s musical production “Bodhi and the Rainforest” seeks 40 elementary and middle school aged children to perform in this magical tale of hope and heroism. “Bodhi and the Rainforest” follows an unwitting Caterpillar on a journey to save the rainforest. The show includes a host of other forest creatures, trees, flowers, and indigenous children that help or hinder the journey. Bring your kids to an audition and open their eyes to the wonder of live theatre. No experience necessary. Questions? Text “Bodhi auditions” to 303-818-1890. Shows are at the Center for the Arts in Crested Butte, August 20 & 21(evenings) and August 22 & 23 (matinees). “Bodhi and the Rainforest” is an original piece written and composed by Suzanne “Soupy” Pierson, who received the 1991 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education for the play. Suzanne is local artist, former teacher, songwriter, and performer. The production is being brought to the valley by Suzanne in partnership with the Center for the Arts.
