Jacob Jolliff is widely recognized as one of the world’s premier contemporary mandolinists. A Berklee College of Music graduate and winner of the 2012 National Mandolin Championship, Jacob has toured and performed with renowned artists including Béla Fleck, Tony Trischka, and Yonder Mountain String Band. Today, he leads The Jacob Jolliff Band—one of the most exciting progressive bluegrass ensembles on the scene. The band’s dynamic sound blends intricate original instrumentals with a wide-ranging vocal repertoire, from traditional bluegrass roots to unexpected pop covers. Their latest release, Instrumentals, Vol. 2: Mandolin Mysteries (May 2024), showcases their deep musicality and improvisational prowess.
