Crested Butte became a registered National Historic District in 1974 to preserve our distinctive buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Join us on a Ghosts of Crested Butte Themed Walking Tour to learn about the history of the ghosts who still inhabit buildings on Elk Ave, Crested Butte history, and stories from the community. Tours meet at the Museum at 4th and Elk Avenue. Tours cost $20 (members) and $25 (non-members).
