 Right Brain/Left Brain and the Cluster Approach to Songwriting Saturday, August 23. 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Join this compelling workshop presented by performing singer-songwriter and recording artist, Chris Coady. Whether you are just starting out and dabbling in writing your own songs or are already a seasoned writer and performer, you are guaranteed to come away with some new tricks, ideas, skills, and inspiration. During this two-hour workshop we will explore the art and craft of songwriting with an emphasis on accessing the random, creative right side of the brain, and then how to organize the flow of ideas into a structured song with a little help from the analytical left side of the brain. This will be an interactive workshop and questions are encouraged. Feel free to bring an instrument, but it is not a requirement. Workshop in collaboration with the Gunnison Valley Music Association. Instructor: Chris Coady Tuition: $50/Student, $42/GAC Member.
