Chris’ Americana/Folk songwriting is inspired by friends, family, community, and the natural environment. His songs convey positivity and transformation with a sense of place in Colorado and the American Southwest. He has released several studio albums co-produced with Don Richmond at Howlin’ Dog Studios: “Where You Find It” 2008, “From Down Here” 2011, “If Down Was Up!” 2014, and “It’s About Time” 2015. In his bands 9 Mile and 18 Mile Radius Chris has opened for Asleep at the Wheel, The Bellamy Brothers and Firefall, and has shared the bill as a songwriter with Dean Dillon, Robert Earl Keen and Paul Overstreet. Chris currently plays in small theaters, listening rooms and house concerts performing his original songs, as well as covers by artists such as Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, John Hiatt and Robert Earl Keen. |
