 Sundays @ 6: Join us under the big trees of Legion Park on the corner of Tomichi Avenue and Teller Street on Sunday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for FREE live music and community family fun. This long standing tradition continues in 2024, come rain or shine, featuring the music of local and regional bands. See you there! Sunday, 28 July 2024: The Black Canyon Ramblers, a Gunnison Valley-based traditional American music band that has played in several live music GV venues including the I-Bar, Mallardi Theater, Butte 66, Double Shot Cyclery, opened for the L'il Smokies at the Crested Butte Chili & Beer Fest and opened for The Wailers at Ambush Ranch. Although the Ramblers' mainstay is traditional bluegrass, they also explore other traditional American music forms such as folk, country and Americana. The Ramblers personnel include Matt and Madeline Shugert on vocals, guitar and clawhammer banjo, Brian Camp on standup bass and Jim Davidson on vocals and rhythm and fingerstyle guitar.
