Crested Butte Film Festival travels Down Under, deep into the ocean, for Blueback - a complex and emotional film about a mother and daughter's passion for the ocean and each other. In it, a young woman recalls her childhood spent living in connection with the ocean, and her mother's efforts to protect the bay from greedy developers and invasive fishermen - often to the detriment of their own relationship. The film stars Mia Wasikowska, Radha Mitchell, and Eric Bana in this poignant, visually stunning film that serves as a beautiful reminder of the power within us all to make a difference and to save what we love the most.
