 Gunnison County is offering free Food Safety Basics courses soon. This is an interactive training course that lasts about 3 hours. • On Wednesday June 1st, we will be offering two courses in Gunnison from 9am-noon and 1pm-4pm at the Fred Field Center upstairs meeting room. • On Thursday June 2nd, we will be offering two courses in Crested Butte from 9am-noon and 1pm-4pm at the Town Hall meeting room. RSVP is recommended, but not required, although space will be limited. Participation may qualify as one of your routine food inspections for the year, so please send at least one staff member. This is a great refresher course for managers and chefs, but also for helping with training new food handlers, dishwashers, servers, bartenders, and baristas. Please see the flyer attached.
