Enjoy a rare glimpse into authentic Scottish traditions and cuisine. Held every January throughout Scotland in honor of the birth date of Scottish national poet Robert Burns, the lively evening includes the traditional Scottish dish, haggis, along with toasts, whisky, bagpipes, fiddle, traditional dance, and readings of Burns’ poetry by actors Steven Cole Hughes and Heather Hughes. Price includes food, some drinks, and an intoxicatingly good time. In the Steddy Theater. Cost: $65 for dinner-only OR $95 for dinner plus a special Scotch whiskey tasting with Aaron Tomcak of Crested Butte’s Mountain Spirits Liquor.*? *Enjoy a tour of some of the most celebrated and obscure Scottish whiskeys in this informative, top-shelf whiskey tasting led by Sommelier Aaron Tomcak of Crested Butte’s Mountain Spirits Liquor.?
