 Discover Pastels ~ (Ages 10 - 15) Mondays, 4:30 - 6:00 pm. November 1 - November 22. This class will introduce both oil and chalk pastels with guided exercises in drawing as well as an introduction to color theory. Students will pick their preferred pastel type each session and create a work which exhibits an understanding of the medium. Everyone will have the opportunity to complete a still life, landscape, and self-portrait. Curriculum may be adjusted based upon varying skill levels. Each student will receive an oil pastel kit that will be theirs to keep after class. Min. 4 students to run. Instructor: Rayna Stem. $65/student, $55.25/members, supplies included.
