Details: THU AUG 9 Crested Butte Magazine 40th Anniversary Party Lordy, lordy look who’s 40! Join the Crested Butte Magazine team and contributors for a community-wide celebration marking 40 years of exceptional writing and photography. Within its pages Crested Butte Magazine has captured and documented the fabric and character of our community. Come raise a glass and enjoy the banter, readings and photos from the archives (the costumes! The 70s and 80s flair!). Live music from very special guests, readings from contributors past and present, and beer! Kick-off partnership between the Center’s new Literary Arts Department and the Crested Butte Magazine. In partnership with the Public House. At the Public House. 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Free
