Gunnison Valley Calendar Is Your Source for Valley-Wide Notifications.

Gunnison Valley Calendar is a regional one-stop calendar where you can post your organization's functions to a shared single website around the Gunnison Valley from Crested Butte to Gunnison.  The goal is to make posting information easy so that you don't have to submit to multiple calendars.  Please review your content prior to submissions. For Public Service Announcements with KBUT Community Radio, please submit your material two weeks in advance.  For edits and questions about entries, please email Kelley@kbut.org.

Details: The 4th Annual Trek for Life on Friday, September 16 is a memorial hike over West Maroon Pass during Suicide Prevention & Awareness Month to celebrate and remember the lives of those no longer with us. The hike is designed to raise awareness about and reduce the stigma associated with behavioral health issues among individuals living in high altitude communities like Crested Butte. The Mountain West, known as the nation’s suicide belt, effects children, adolescents, and families living above 8,000ft in high altitude town of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming where suicide rates are 3 times the national average!
