 For the fourth year in a row, Crested Butte Film Festival partners with Magnolia Pictures to present the Oscar-Nominated Short Films, April 9 - 23. With all three categories offered - Documentary, Live Action, and Animated - this is your annual chance to see some of the best short films in the world and predict the winners (you'll have an edge on your Oscar pool!) These films are a perennial hit with audiences around the world, so don't miss this year's selections, including CBFF alumni Skye Fitzgerald's film, Hunger Ward. Running times and ratings for each program are as follows:Documentary, Rated R, 136 mins. Live Action, Rated R, 130 mins. Animated, PG-13, 99 mins. Tickets are $20 per program, $50 for all three. Additional donations are also welcome to help CBFF offset the rental price. The 11th annual Crested Butte Film Festival runs September 24 - October 3. Please see cbfilmfest.org for more details.
