Gunnison Valley Calendar Is Your Source for Valley-Wide Events Listings

Gunnison Valley Calendar is a regional one-stop calendar where you can post your organization's events to a shared single website around the Gunnison Valley from Crested Butte to Gunnison.  The goal is to make posting events easy so that you don't have to submit to multiple calendars.  For Public Service Announcements with KBUT Community Radio, please submit your event two weeks in advance.

To expose your event details to a wider listening audience with more frequency, consider Underwriting at kbut.org.
Participants include:
  • KBUT Community Radio,
  • The Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce,
  • The Crested Butte Creative District,
  • The Gunnison Country Chamber of Commerce and the
  • Gunnison-Crested Butte Tourism Association.
The Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Calendar website and calendar is generously hosted and supported at no charge by Thin Air Web, serving Crested Butte and beyond since 1998.

Golden Shoals w/ Big Silly
Add to your calendar
Date: April 2, 8:00 pm-10:00pm
Continues Until:
Location: 102 S. Main Street
Details: Moonlight Concert Series: Golden Shoals w/ Big Silly Thursday, April 2. Doors 7:30, Concert 8:00 pm. Brought together by a mutual love for American folk music, Amy Alvey (fiddle, guitar) and Mark Kilianski (guitar, banjo) have been entertaining audiences all over the U.S. with their tight duo sound since 2013. Ever inspired by the enduring spirit of traditional Appalachian mountain music, Golden Shoals calls Asheville, North Carolina home. Their songwriting comes across as simple, honest, and fresh to the ears. Both are Berklee College of Music alumni, and the listener can expect the polished technique of conservatory training, in tandem with the grit, drive, and soul of musicians like Roscoe Holcomb or Ola Belle Reed. Joined on stage with Big Silly; Matt Lackey (fiddle, mandolin, guitar) and Lizzy Plotkin (fiddle, guitar), these outstanding musicians promise an entertaining and a once-in-a-lifetime performance. In the words of Lackey “come experience some bad a** old time music as we try not to burn the place down”. Tickets: $18/adults, $16/members & students.
