 Gallery Openings: October Six Points Exhibition “Pleasant Places” Clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities at Six Points have created masterpieces using different mediums to express their own individuality and style. Their artwork will be silent-auctioned off during the First Friday ArtWalk beginning at 5:00 and ending at 8:00 pm. All proceeds from their sales go directly to the clients. Enjoy their artistry! “Masks & Images from Dreams” By Joe Petersen & Kimbre Woods Explore a dream like world of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional landscapes carved into leather and painted light onto photo paper. This joint exhibit will feature mask maker Joe Peterson and historical photographer Kimbre Woods. Joe’s very own dreams inspire uniquely shaped wearable masks complete with texture and color. Kimbre’s retro images create an old fashioned and dreamy feeling, while using many old photography developing processes like cyanotype. This exhibit will intermingle and explore the dream world with the viewer’s reality.
