The Crested Butte Fire Protection District along with other agencies will be performing a training exercise at the Crested Butte Community School for the 9th through 12th grade class. Topics to include a simulated Motor Vehicle accident with the possibility of a Helicopter landing, drug and alcohol awareness, penalties and consequences of an underage DUI and Forest Service representatives educating students on knowing the Fire Danger Rating and the consequences of an unattended camp fire. |
