 Yeehaw! Let’s make history together! — Join us this Saturday, July 25th from [6-8pm], as we celebrate Pitkin Day with the inaugural Miners Masquerade at Terrible Mountain Gallery. — Arrive adorned in your finest Wild West costume. Prizes await the most authentic and striking interpretations of the era. — Enjoy the beautiful fine art adorning the gallery walls, as well as a special showing of striking, one-of-a-kind historical photographs printed on chromalux metal available for auction. — Local historian Dave Primus will anchor the evening with stories and adventures in the isolation of early mountain life in Gunnison County. — Gather for complimentary refreshments and miner’s fare courtesy of the Bon Ton Bistro at the Pitkin Hotel, with artisanal ice cream available from Spennys Ice Cream Stand. — Payday for everyone with live gold panning guided by local miner Chuck Kolinski and friends. — Preserve your likeness through the lens of photographer Colt Maule, capturing an old-time portrait of you in your Wild West attire. — A silent auction fundraiser will be held throughout the evening, with all proceeds directly supporting the Pitkin Historical and Community Association and our free kids art workshops through Wild Seeds Academy—an investment in the future of our community! — We look forward to seeing y’all there! -- 409 Main St, Pitkin, CO 81241
