The Live from Mt. Crested Butte (presented by the Mt. Crested Butte Town Center Community Association) series returns! The Band Loula will take the stage on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Join us at the Red Lady Stage in the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Base Area for free live music. Local opener at 5:30 pm. All live series openers are provided in partnership with the Gunnison Valley Music Association. Food and beverage will be served during the event. Grab your camp chairs and blankets and make plans to join us on the lawn for music on the mountain! North Georgia natives and longtime friends, The Band Loula continues to garner widespread attention across the industry with their undeniable chemistry and near-blood harmonies. They released their debut EP, Sweet Southern Summer, via Warner Records Nashville in 2025. Produced by John Osborne (Brothers Osborne) with additional production from Greg Bieck (Little Big Town, etc), the project showcases their powerful storytelling and unique swampgrass sound across the six tracks. Two best friends, each an artist in their own right, Malachi Mills and Logan Simmons are powerful live performers, spending much of the past few years touring alongside artists such as Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Ashley McBryde, Zach Top, Paul Cauthen, Elle King, Brent Cobb and Lukas Nelson.
