Get ready for a spine-tingling showdown at the wall—Nightmare on Crux Street is back and creepier than ever! This Halloween-themed bouldering competition is open to all skill levels and welcomes climbers and non-climbers alike for a frightfully fun evening of costumes, climbing, and chaos. Competition Overview: 3:30 PM – Check-in 4:00–6:00 PM – Regular Comp Time (50 bouldering problems) 6:00–7:00 PM – Games, Costume Contest & Giveaway 7:00–8:00 PM – Finals in the Dark! (Spooky spotlight lighting, high-stakes climbs) Expect: - Hauntingly good boulders - Costume competitions with prizes for creativity & scare factor - A live student DJ to bring the beats to the boulder - Slackline showdown - Giveaways - Glowing Halloween spotlights for an eerie and electric finals vibe Costume Categories: - Best Overall - Best Climbing-Themed Costume - Scariest Costume Perks: First 5 to register get a free shirt! Comp entry includes: 1 raffle ticket + eligibility for special categories Wear a costume = 1 extra ticket Additional raffle tickets available for $1 donation each Prizes Include: - Donated gear and goodies - Retired hold trophies & rope rugs - Prizes for top competitors in beginner, intermediate, and advanced categories Special judge’s awards: - Most Creative Beta - Most Flashes - Most Climbs Completed Everyone’s Invited!
