Vinotok is calling its first volunteer meeting for this year's festival! The Theatre Troupe All-Cast Meeting is for people who wish to perform, dances, sing, plays instruments, and more. If you are interested in being a Maiden, Torchbearer, Flagbearer, Mood Maker, Forest Creature, Harvest Mother celebrant, or other cast member, this meeting is for you. We also welcome Fire Performance Artists and anyone who feels they have some type of “circus art” (i.e., stilt walking, belly dancing, etc.). Also called are musicians (drummers, flutists, trumpeters, etc.). This meeting is an experience where newbies and veterans gather to learn about Vinotok, meet the council and other tribe members, and begin preparing for the celebrations to come. Bring warm layers, food, and drink, and be prepared to be there for a while. Please note all cast members contribute significantly to the production of all Vinotok events, including the Community Feast. If you don't wish to perform, check out the Community Volunteer Meetings on August 20 and September 3. |
