 Wildlife Connections: Big Game Limited Licensing in the Gunnison Basin The North American Model of Wildlife Conservation relies on regulated hunting as a management tool. But what happens when some elk licenses in the Gunnison Basin are unlimited in the number sold — resulting in hunter crowding, ethical questions, management challenges and a lower quality experience for hunters? How might wildlife management improve under an entirely limited approach to big game hunting licenses? Join Gunnison Wildlife Association, local wildlife advocates, and experts from Colorado Parks and Wildlife to discuss this important topic. We want to hear from you!
