Calling all youth and teens in grade six and up with a passion for theatre or a secret desire to perform on stage! Firebird Theatre Company invites you to audition for its holiday youth production of "The Nutcracker and The Mouse King". No experience is necessary, and no preparation is needed as scenes will be available for you to read. This is not a dance production, but rather a fun, interactive adaptation of E.T.A. Hoffman's original 1816 story, which inspired the classic ballet. Adapted for the stage by Annie Flora and directed by Maddy Carver ("She Kills Monsters", "Beauty and the Beast").
