Named one of the “25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by Movie Maker Magazine, Crested Butte Film Festival is all about engaging with film and with each other. Tucked away in the beautiful mountain town of Crested Butte, with an atmosphere of inspiration fueled by great films, shared experiences, bike rides, hikes, and magical mountain scenery – CBFF makes for an unforgettable fall getaway. You’ll experience 80+ films, filmmaker talks, engaging events, all while the aspens are ablaze with color! Dates for 2023 are Sept. 27 - Oct. 1 and our festival begins with our vaunted "Locals Film Showcase" which acknowledges the vibrant, growing community of CB filmmakers. Throughout the weekend you'll see the very best in narrative, documentary, short, outdoor adventure, our free Youth Film Program, and also the World Premiere of "In The Dirt" by T.C.
