Writers in Residence Welcome Reception

Details: Join us in welcoming the 2022 Mountain Words Writers in Residence to the community over drinks, bites and tantalizing conversation. The international cohort includes: — Pushcart award-winning poet from Tehran, Kaveh Akbar — author and prison rights activist Dominque Conway — writer, visual artist from New Orleans Bernardo Wade — India-based fiction writer Megha Nayar — Local writer and audio producer Stephanie Maltarich The writers will spend the month of May writing, enjoying the community, and presenting at CBCS before reading produced work at the Mountain Words Literary Festival May 25 – 29. Help us welcome them in proper Crested Butte style!
