The Crested Butte Museum and The Trailhead Children’s Museum present a fun collaborative two-day activity workshop exploring mapping through the lens of art and history. Participants will get to explore downtown Crested Butte on a walking tour, get a behind the scenes tour of the Crested Butte Museum, learn about mapping techniques old and new, and create a watercolor mapping project. This is a two-day workshop where day two will build on skills and information gained on the first day, and will be appropriate for students in grades K-5. This program includes lunch, snacks, and refreshments for both days and will be 9am-4pm each day. Early Bird pricing is $130 before February 1st, and will go up to $150 after February 1st. Full and partial scholarships are available for families needing financial assistance - applications can be found on The Trailhead Children's Museum's website.
