 Western Colorado University’s Center for Public Lands in partnership with the Colorado Mountain Club is offering FREE Leave No Trace Trainer Courses. These two-day backpacking courses are designed for individuals who will conduct various forms of Leave No Trace outreach, such as Awareness Workshops, seminars, ranger talks, and short presentations. Anyone who wants to learn more about Leave No Trace and and how to recreate responsibly in the outdoors is welcome! Each participant will become a Leave No Trace Trainer and receive a certificate from the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics. Trips are limited to a maximum of eight participants and are held in the Fossil Ridge Wilderness. For questions and more information, please reach out to Tobias Nickel (tobias.nickel@gmail.com).
