"The Gunnison Valley Producers' Guild and the Center for Cold Climate Food Security have partnered to bring you the 7th Annual Farm to Table Conference: How to be Food Independent! Want to learn how to grow, buy, cook, and store local food? Join us virtually for two mini-talks March 11th and March 12th, and for the main conference, March 13th, to hear from local speakers on food sovereignty and learn actionable skills to create your own food independence in the Gunnison Valley. Some of the topics include seed saving, backyard gardening, food fermentation and preserving, soil health, how to cook locally, and backyard chickens and poultry. You'll also receive free access to our Local Producers' Cookbook, including local produce guides and recipes using local, seasonal foods. See the attached flyer for more details or click here to register!" Click here for the event website |
