 Guest Teaching Artist, Fara Tolno, from Guinea, West Africa, will be back in the Gunnison Valley for Black History Month to teach dynamic, fun and family friendly cultural arts events! Fara is an engaging and energetic teacher! Very kind and capable at teaching to any level of dancer or drummer- including never-evers! All events are family friendly Check out the Community Dance/Drum Classes: Friday 2/28 715-830pm Afro-modern Dance, all levels, fun and dynamic teaching to Afro pop music!$15/person. Sat 2/29 10-1130am All level African dance with live drums and amazing guest artist Fara Tolno, $15/person Sat 2/29 1130-1pm All level African drumming with renown master teacher, $15/person. Drums available for use Sun 3/1 10-1130am All level African dance with live drums $15/person All classes will be at the pump room studio (306 Maroon Ave-above fire station), at the cost of $15 each or 2 for $25. If needed drums will be available for class. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.
