July 4 in IOOF Park brought to you by the Gunnison Country Chamber of Commerce with assistance from the city of Gunnison Starts with a 5K Run ---- this is being hosted by WSCU Athletics – Katie Benoit - registration will begin at 7:15 am at IOOF Park on July 4 --- please come on out and have a fun morning run—RED WHITE & BLUE costumes definitely encouraged. For more information contact kbenoit@western.edu 9:00 to 11:00 Live music from Jenny Hill and Sam Pankratz 10:00 Bring your pets out to the IOOF in patriotic costume!!!! Or a look-alike outfit. Gunnison Underdog Rescue is sponsoring: *Patriotic Pet Costume Contest-The more lavish and patriotic the costume the better! *Owner/Pet Look Alike Contest-Do you look like your pet? Costumes optional Win prizes! Suggested donation $5 per entry • Participants are asked to preregister by July 3rd. Registrations will be accepted at the event on July 4 until 9:45 am. Please sign in by 9:45 am on July 4 at IOOF Park at Main St and Virginia. Judging will begin promptly at 10:00 am. GUR is a 501 (c) (3) non-pro?t. All proceeds directly support GUR.
