 The Brooklyn-based nine-piece powerhouse, Turkuaz, delivers immensely danceable horn-filled soul- funk incorporating elements of R & B, psychedelic pop, gospel, Afro-pop, new wave and classic rock. Charismatically dressed in bright outfits that are as colorful as their expressive voice, and with choreographed dance moves, the band puts on a bombastic performance that rides like a summer carnival on a Saturday night.
