Redemption Songs and Sonatas sees Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), an Emmy-nominated violinist, electronic artist and composer, united with noted pianist, Yaldoi lkawa. DBR has previously collaborated with Lady Gaga, Savion Glover, Bill T. Jones and Philip Glass, but this program is designed to showcase some of his most poignant signature works in an intimate setting.
Infused with the spirit of liberation and freedom, Redemption Songs and Sonatas is a composer’s view of our desire to define ourselves, our world, and sometimes, one another.
