Mountain Roots Food Project would like you to know that registration is now open for the winter and spring sessions of Kids Cook!, a culinary course for teens in grades 6 and up offered in both Gunnison and Crested Butte. Kids will learn to cook a new meal each week, plus kitchen skills, shopping and nutrition basics, and tips for making healthy lifestyle choices. New themes for 2015 include “Culinary Classics” and “Around the World.” Kids Cook! classes are offered Fridays in Gunnison starting Jan 9 and Tuesdays in Crested Butte starting Jan 13, and scholarships are available.
