Cooking Matters Classes

Details: Mountain Roots and the Gunnison Health and Human Services Department will offer free Cooking Matters classes to qualifying individuals on Fridays from 11-1pm starting January 9th.  This is an income-based, 6-week session taught by culinary and nutrition professionals who will help you improve your cooking skills, identify healthy food options, and make the most of your food budget.  Learn to cook a variety of delicious meals on a tight budget.  Classes will be held at the Fred Field Western Heritage Center kitchen in Gunnison.  Registration is required.  More information can be found by calling 724-421-7357 or by inquiring at the Gunnison Public Health Office.
