Crested Butte Mountain Theatre presents the holiday comedy, Christmas Thieves, written by Greg Oliver Bodine, directed by September Sack and underwritten in part by Doug Gorman.
Christmas Thieves opens on the Mallardi Cabaret Stage December 16th and plays through the 23rd at 7:30 nightly. The December 21st performance is a matinee only at 4 pm. The house and bar open 30 minutes prior to the performance.
Christmas Thieves tells the story of a struggling, upper mid-west, community radio station in the town of Yule, Bunyon County, not far from Cayoga, USA. The English Acting Troup that was coming to Station W-CHZ to perform on-air Thomas Hardy’s holiday classic “The Thieves Who Couldn’t Stop Sneezing” have just been food poisoned at the local eatery leaving the station employees and the mayor to perform the play. What happens next can only be described as the making for a hilarious night’s entertainment.
Tickets for Christmas Thieves can be purchased by calling 970-349-0366 or by going on-line to cbmountaintheatre.org. Adults are $16, Members are $14 and Youth are $10. Christmas Thieves is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts. Inc. Click here for the event website |
