Discovering Your Muse; An Art and Creativity Workshop
Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. both days. September 20 & 21.
What is creativity? How do you access inspiration? Join artist and educator, Cheri Isgreen to discover your muse. Cheri will lead participants through a series of exercises exploring creativity, while making journals and found objects sculpture. At the end of this workshop you will have new strategies for finding inspiration and refining your creative expression, along with a handmade journal, and a nifty sculpture! This class is suitable for working artists wanting to recharge their batteries, emerging artists looking for unusual techniques, and non-artists desiring an outlet for creative expression. Cheri Isgreen is an artist specializing in watercolors and fiber art. Cheri taught art education for 30 years in the Montrose School District. She was an art education Fellow with the US Department of Education and coauthor of the Colorado Art Education Standards. Her fiber art and watercolors have been widely exhibited and collected in private and public collections, both in Colorado and internationally. $65 Includes all supplies.
