The Government Inspector, freely adapted by Dr. Paul Edwards from Nikolai Gogol’s The Inspector General, will be presented by Peak Productions November 8th ,9th and November 14th-16th at 7:30 p.m. in the WSCU Auditorium in Taylor Hall.
Someone from the Federal Government has arrived in the Western Colorado town of Lodestone —and he’s not there to help! Conspiracies, corruption, mistaken identities, and seductions all are a part of this contemporary comedy based on a nineteenth century Russian play that’s even more timely today! Any resemblance between the action of the play and any person or Western Colorado town – living or dead – is purely unintentional!
Admission is $5 for WSCU students with ID and $10 for general admission. On Thursday, October 14th, tickets will be two for one. Tickets are available at the WSCU Bookstore or a half-hour before the performance in the Studio Theatre lobby. For advance ticket reservations or for more information contact Peak Productions at (970)-943-3013 or by e-mailing peak@western.edu.
Please note: the play contains adult language and situations, so this is one for the grown ups. |
