Intro to Linoleum Block Printmaking

In this class, participants will be introduced to the process of linoleum block printmaking. We will create three carved linoleum blocks and create a small edition of prints from each. For inspiration, we will explore a brief history of woodblock and linoleum block printing. During the final class, we will experiment with our block prints on variety of papers and surfaces, and incorporate mixed media. Art experience is helpful, but not necessary.
