 The 26th annual Beyond Giftedness Conference provides a forum for teachers, counselors, parents, administrators, policymakers, and other professionals to share and learn about a multitude of topics (academic, social/emotional, educational policy) relating to gifted children — how to meet their unique needs, and unlock their unique potentialities. Noted local and national speakers will deliver keynotes, lead breakout sessions, and engage in networking. General conference participants are eligible for 7.5 hours of professional development certification, and can earn up to 0.5 hours of graduate credit. This year, a special half-day parent-focused conference will be held concurrently with the general conference. Launching its second quarter-century, the Conference fosters an understanding of and support for this often misunderstood special needs population.
