 Join former Buddhist monk, teacher, writer, educator, and Spiritual Director of the Way of Compassion Dharma Center right here in Gunnison Colorado at their sister center, the Here and Now Center. This will be a day long retreat starting at 9:30 am and ending at 3:30 pm with an hour lunch break (option to bring lunch with microwave and refrigerator available or to order lunch from the Sherpa cafe next door). The topic will be a chapter from the book Heroic Heart by one of our root teachers, Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo. This month the chapter focuses on the ability to abide in calm through turbulent times and disturbing emotions.
