Mt. Crested Butte Announces Annual Town Clean Up Day The Town of Mt. Crested Butte invites residents and community members to join the Annual Town Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 9, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will meet at the Matterhorn Parking Lot (corner of Treasury & Gothic) to check in, pick up supplies, and receive cleanup assignments. All ages are welcome. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, water, and a friend. As a thank you, participants will receive gift cards and a free lunch at noon. Dumpsters will be available for residents during the event, along with on-site donation partners. Green waste drop-off (free) and e-cycling ($1 per pound) will also be offered. Curbside pickup for large items is available by request and must be set out by 8 a.m. Please note that certain items—such as construction materials, paint, tires, electronics, and large appliances—will not be accepted. Register in advance and help keep Mt. Crested Butte clean and beautiful. For more information, visit mtcb.colorado.gov.
