 Opening at Gunnison's First Friday ArtWalk & Music Friday, March 4, 5 - 7 pm Show Dates: March 4 - 25 Tredway Gallery: “The Things We Carry” Open Community Show This show explores the things that make you, you. What do you carry with you that now defines you? What stories do those things tell? From the pocket knife that belonged to your father to the anxiety, you’ve picked up over the pandemic. Or maybe you keep a recipe that you use every holiday or you always have the same socks for a certain game. Use this prompt to consider what you carry with you and how it defines you. *Artists of all levels and ages are welcome. All media are gladly accepted. $10/Entry. $8/Members. Maximum of 3 entries per artist. Contact Brieanna@GunnisonArtsCenter.org for more information on how to enroll by February 18th. All artwork is due at the Gunnison Arts Center by Friday, February 25th. Main Gallery: “High Country Home” by Hannah Cryder Multi-Media 2-Dimensional Work This series explores the things that make Gunnison home and pulls inspiration from my home in south-central Alaska as well. The series highlights landscapes, wildlife, and the the lifestyle of the valley so many of us call home.
