Fingernoise Chamber Orchestra, Dr. Emily Ondracek-Peterson, soloist Bach – Violin Concerto in A Minor Vivaldi – Winter from The Four Seasons Vivaldi – Two Concertos Quote: “Emily Ondracek walked on stage to play Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s Violin Concerto and walked off a violin superstar.” – Chicago Daily Herald Fingernoise returns to perform these gems of the Baroque period. In many ways, the Baroque period is the rock and roll epoch of classical music, and here, the violin soloist is the guitar-shredding rock star. Bach’s Concerto in A Minor features one of the most beautiful slow movements to have ever been quilled, and the Vivaldi concerts are joy incarnate. If you’re new to classical music, you’ll not want to miss this!
