Join us at the Gunnison Library at 6 pm on Thursday, April 27 for a presentation on the history of local railroading and the famous Baldwin Engine 268 that served the Denver & Rio Grand Railroad beginning in 1882. Gunnison Pioneer Museum’s Larry McDonald will present a pictorial history that will provide attendees with a glimpse of the amazing history of the Baldwin Engine 268 and explain how she became “Cinder Ella of the Rockies”. This event is free and open to the public.
