 Retreat into the Waters of Joyful Journeys and explore your own inner waters through yoga under the full moon. Joyful Journeys is a place where people have been gathering in peace to share the nourishing qualities of the water since ancient times. The water comes from extremely hot underground rivers running along the Sangre de Cristo mountains that carry beneficial minerals, including lithium, which helps promote the growth of new brain cells. Here we will cultivate deep relaxation in three days of soaking, yoga, personal rituals and beautifully crafted meals as we embrace the history of Joyful Journey’s, which is one of wellness and community. Kaitlyn has studied many different modalities of alternative medicine, including Yoga and Q'ero Shamanism as well as Cognitive Science and Quantum Physics. Her work is in bridging ancient and modern knowledge to create whole body coherence and self-empowerment while honoring the Earth. Born in the mountains of Crested Butte, she learned early on the value of nature and community, which will be the foundation of this retreat. Her yoga classes are vinyasa flows with specific cues to expand awareness of the natural energies of the body and surrounding world. In this retreat, we will explore what it means to deeply nurture the body, the nature of community, and how to create places of peace within. We will meet each other and ourselves in awakening to the magic of Spring. |
