 Virtual Zoom Meeting: Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 6 p.m. In-Person meeting at the corner of Sixth Street & Butte Avenue: Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 6 p.m. Please join the Town of Crested Butte for two community listening sessions as we begin planning workforce housing at the corner of Sixth Street and Butte Avenue. The Town is developing a housing study for Town Parcels 3 and 5 in the new Slate River Annexation. There is potential for between 60-70 affordable housing units in this area and this study will help determine important development factors including type of development, density, mass and scale, and more. The result of the housing study will be a master plan for the site, as well as a request for proposals that will be released to develop the site, where portions of the site could begin construction as early as 2022. What would make this feel like home? Help us re-imagine the corner of Sixth Street & Butte Avenue as the Town kicks off the Sixth & Butte Workforce Housing Plan. Please tune in via zoom on Tuesday, June 15th at 6 p.m. or meet us on site on Thursday, June 17th at 6 p.m. to share your ideas.
